People Pleasers?

Who among us don’t want to be liked? Who among us hasn’t gone along to get along? Who among us have done things we know we shouldn’t just to be accepted? Gossip? Hate? Judging? Shunning? Lying? Who among us is without sin? God’s word tells us the way and to walk in it. We are human and not perfect but if we acknowledge our faults God’s mercies are new every morning. If we will heed God will help us to change.

1 Samuel 15:22 So Samuel said: Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat of rams.

If we will slow down and listen to the small still voice (sometimes very loud and direct) of the Holy Spirit we will do better to obey God’s way and truth. Anger often fuels foolishness. The anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God. WWJD? Love first? God is love.
