What does God’s word say?
Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them saying, “All authority has been given Me in heaven and on earth.
Jude 1:8-10 Likewise these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries. Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring a reviling accusation, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” But these speak evil of whatever they do not know; and whatever they know naturally, like brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves.
Romans 9:21-22 Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor? What if God wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much long suffering the vessels for wrath prepared for destruction.
1 Timothy 2:1-4 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for ALL men, for kings, and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Romans 13:1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities for there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that are appointed by God.

Will we study God’s word? Will we walk in it?
