God’s timing is always right. God knows the past and what the future holds. When God’s Son, Jesus was born the wise men who had been watching for the star to appear and when they finally saw it they set out to follow it to find the Savior of the World who had been born. As, they would most likely be walking it could have taken weeks or months to get to where Jesus was. These wise men were sent with gifts. God knew this provision was going to be needed for Joseph to take His Son and Mary to flee to safety from Herod. God’s timing. When God brought out the Israelites out of Egypt He gave each tribe skills of different kinds. God gave one tribe skills in wood working, one in metal working, one in tapestry, one in dying cloth and art and more, right down to those who would take care of everything created. God’s provision. God will often lead us to a job or even send someone by to lend a hand but God also sends us to lend a hand as well. Are we willing to lend a hand? To family? To a friend? To a stranger? Are we willing to be God’s good Samaritan?
Proverbs 19:17 He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and He will pay back what he has given.
Psalm 41:1-3 Blessed is he who considers the poor; The Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. The Lord will preserve him and keep him alive, and he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The Lord will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.
If we all do a little it can become a lot. If a million people give a dollar that is a million dollars. Look to our local charities that are struggling right now. They often help people with food, rent, electric, clothes, and other provisions. The local charities are equipped at knowing who and how to help. God bless His people abundantly that we may be a blessing to others in any way God Provides.
