Samaritan?

Genesis 4:9 Then the Lord said to Cain, “Where is your brother Able?” He said, “I do not know. Am I my brothers keeper?”

Genesis 9:5-6 Surely for your lifeblood I will demand a reckoning; From the hand of every beast I will require it, and from the hand of every man’s brother I will require the life of man. Whoever sheds man’s blood, by man his blood shall be shed; for in the image of God He made man.

Leviticus 19:16-18 You shall not go about as a talebearer among your people; nor shall you take a stand against the life of your neighbor. I am the Lord. You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.

Luke 10:31-33 Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed on the other side. Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion.

Galatians 6:10 Therefore as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Are you acting as the Samaritan?

Lord, thank You for Your perfect word. We are our brothers keeper. Lead us to what is right for all people are created in Your image. It is not about our rights but about loving our neighbor as ourselves and protecting all those we come into contact with. Please give us wisdom in loving and protecting our neighbor in this trying difficult season. In Jesus name amen

I am God's work in progress. God's word says "be holy as I am holy." The only way to accomplish this is to turn our lives over to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have found that this is a learning process but begins with a real desire to know Him. My prayer is Lord keep me on your paths of righteousness bringing glory and honor to your name.
