In this age of technology the selfie and videos of the things we do and feel that are important to us are splashed out on social media. The Lord was dealing with me this morning on the way we are to treat others and think of others more highly than ourselves. To think of how our behavior will and does effect others before we act. Do we stop to think before we do anything how it will effect family, friends, co-workers, those around us? Do we go to work sick? Do we leave enough space between cars? Do we drink and drive? Do we speak before we think? Words cannot be taken back once spoken. Words cannot be unheard or unseen when written.
God has and does everything for our good. He thinks of us first. We don’t always see His good in our trials but I have learned He is growing me. Often we are creatures who have to learn by our mistakes. I have made so many at this point I do pray without ceasing in fact I constantly ask God about the things I say and do. I still mess up! Lord, this is hard but You are faithful and will complete the good work You have begun in me to the day of my Savior Jesus Christ.
Philippians 2:3-4 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us.
Lord, thank You for all You have done and do for us. Thank You that You remember we are but dust. Thank You for loving us and being so long suffering with us. In Jesus name amen
