Last nights vision was about being a servant. To some this may sound awful but in God’s context it is beautiful. Jesus came not to be served but to serve first His Father and then us.
Matthew 4:24
Then His fame went throughout all Syria and the people brought to Him all the sick people who were afflicted with various diseases, and torments, and those who were demon possessed, epileptics, and paralytics and He healed them. Jesus is our healer, our physician.
Matthew 5:1
And seeing the multitudes He went up on the mountain and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. Then He opened His mouth and taught them saying. Jesus our teacher
Matthew 14:14-21
And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed the sick among them. When it was evening His disciples came to Him saying; This is a deserted place, and the hour is already late. Send the multitude away to the villages, that they may go into the villages and buy themselves food. But Jesus said to them, they do not need to go away, you give them something to eat. And they said to Him, we have here only five loaves and two fish. He said bring them here to Me. Then he commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. He took the loaves and when He blessed and broke and He gave the loaves to His disciples, and the disciples gave to the multitudes. So that all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of fragments that remained. Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children. Jesus is our provider.
Matthew 18:10
Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels see the face of My Father who is in heaven. For the son of Man has come to save that which was lost. Jesus is our defender.
John 13:3-5
Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He was come from God, and went to God; He rose, and laid aside His garments; and took a towel and girded Himself. After that He poured water into a basin, and began to wash the disciples feet, and to wipe them with the towel he had girded Himself with.
John 13:12-17
So after He had washed their feet, and had taken His garments, and was sat down again, He said unto them, Know you what I have done to you? You call Me master and Lord; and you say well; for so I am. If then, your Lord and Master has washed your feet; you also ought to wash one another feet. For I have given you and example, that you should do as I have done to you. Truly, truly I say to you, the servant is not greater than his Lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent Him. If you know these things, happy are you if you do them. Jesus the one who loves so much he cleanses us from our sins and still comes for to help His enemies.
Isaiah 53: 10-12
Yet it pleases the Lord to bruise Him; He has put Him too grief. When you make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper His hand. He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many. For He shall bear their iniquities. Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong. Because He poured out His soul unto death, and He was numbered with the transgressors, and He bore the sin of many; and made intercession for the transgressors.
Isaiah 53:9
And they made His grave with the wicked but with the rich at His death because He had done no violence, nor was any deceit in His mouth. Jesus is our deliverer.
