There are many religions but only one the way, the truth, and the life and that is Jesus. Jesus teaches us that way. There is only one true Shepherd, the Good Shepherd, Jesus. There is a study that says if you repeat something enough to people they will begin to believe it. Religions can add and take away from God’s word to suit themselves. If we say Jesus is our Shepherd then no matter what or who speaks we will know the truth; the WAY, the TRUTH, and the Life, Jesus. If we say we love Jesus we should know Him.
John 10:27 My sheep hear My voice and I know them and they follow Me.
John 10:14 I am the Good Shepherd; and I know My sheep, And am known by My own.
Matthew 25:34-36 Then the KING will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; FOR I WAS HUNGRY AND YOU GAVE ME FOOD; I WAS THIRSTY AND YOU GAVE ME DRINK; I WAS A STRANGER AND YOU TOOK ME IN; I WAS NAKED AND YOU CLOTHED ME; I WAS SICK AND YOU VISITED ME; I WAS IN PRISON AND YOU CAME TO ME.’
Jesus did and does ALL of these and more. We are told to follow His example.
Matthew 25:40 And the KING will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to the least of these My brethren, you did it to ME.’
Matthew 23:14-15 Woe to you, scribes and pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widow’s houses, and for pretense make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation. Woe to you, scribes and pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel the land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves.
Who are we following? What programing are we listening to? Will we search ourselves and return to the Good Shepherd?
