Sowing?

What seeds are we sowing? How are we nurturing what has been sown? How are we watering and feeding others along our daily path? I often think what I have to give is so little it cannot make a difference. In Jesus hands our little can feed thousands! Only a small pebble can make great ripples! We may never see the fruit but it doesn’t mean Jesus has not used our little.

John 6:8-12 One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to Him, “There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?” Then Jesus said, “Make the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. And Jesus took the loaves, when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted. So when they were all filled, He said to His disciples, “Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.”

1 Corinthians 3:5-7 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.

Is it not amazing that God did not lay the entire burden on us but let us be a part of His plan?

John 14:6 Jesus, said to Him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Me.

Again what are we sowing? How are we nurturing?

Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control. Against such there is no law.

I am God's work in progress. God's word says "be holy as I am holy." The only way to accomplish this is to turn our lives over to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have found that this is a learning process but begins with a real desire to know Him. My prayer is Lord keep me on your paths of righteousness bringing glory and honor to your name.
