Titus 3:2-9, To speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle showing all humility to all men. 3 for we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another 4 but when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared 5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. 8 this is faithful, saying and these things I want you to affirm constantly , that those who believe in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable.
1 Timothy 2:1-6, Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence 3 for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of truth. 5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men the Man Christ Jesus who gave Himself a ransom for all to be testified in due time.
Titus 3:9-11, but avoid foolish disputes, genealogy, contentions, and strivings about the law: for they are unprofitable and useless 10 reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition 11 knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned.
James 1:26, If any one thinks himself to be religious, and yet does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this mans religion is worthless.
Ephesians 4:29-32, Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification that it may impart grace to the hearers 30 and do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor and evil speaking be put away from you with all malice 32 and be kind to one another even as God in Christ forgave you.
Ephesians 5:1-2, Therefore be imitators of God as dear children, and walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling aroma.
Lord Jesus we thank You for Your word. We thank You for Your correcting hand upon us. You Lord only correct those You love and send us to draw others to You. Lord Your love is perfect and we are imperfect. Forgive us our trespasses and teach us to forgive even as You do. Lord in and of ourselves this is impossible but Your word says that through You Jesus Christ we can. For greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world. Lord in Jesus name as humble sheep lead us to the cross and help us to love our neighbor as ourselves. Amen
