Have we thought about how we will be or make it through times of tribulation? Have we thought about our love growing cold? Has our love grown cold?
Matthew 24: 11-12 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
Have we thought about how we may be fooled?
Matthew 24:14 For false Christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
Those who are believers in Jesus will follow and obey His commandments, His example that He left us. They will bear the fruit of the Spirit. They will put away hate, anger, malice, greed, pride, and all manner of evil.
James 1:19-21 So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger, for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
I have gotten worried and asked, “Lord how do I do this?” I am gullible. The Lord sings over me; “On Christ the solid rock I stand all other ground is sinking sand, all other ground is sinking sand.” Then I hear, “Not by might nor by power but by My Spirit says the Lord.” We have to know God’s word for ourselves so we are not tossed around by those who claim to know Christ Jesus but inwardly are wolves. We will know them by their fruit.
Matthew 5:3-9 Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for the shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.
Will we be humble? If we say we know Him, will we obey His commandments and produce good fruit?
Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, Longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control. Against such there is no law.
Do we believe the God of all creation needs our help? The One who gives life to all things. We see things dimly and are short sited. Will we stand on Jesus Christ the Solid Rock?
Matthew 7:24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:”
