Struggle?

Do you struggle with why God allows bad things to happen? Do you struggle to understand why a loving God doesn’t stop bad things from happening? When we look around all that is going on in His world today do you ask: God, where are you? God, how long will You not answer? God, why aren’t You helping us? I DO. I know God is God beyond any doubt because I have seen so much of His hand in my life and still I struggle when I see so many suffering. Thankfully I do know God is God and He loves ALL His creation. God can take the one He created for dishonor and change them to be for honor. God changed me and has always been with me, His prodigal child. Yes, I have asked why I did so many stupid things. I am still not sure of the answer. God has a purpose for all things and knows all things and knows the planned outcome. God made Saul king before He made David king. As Saul tried to kill David, David learned to rely on God. David did not become king officially until Saul died and David was 30 years of age. Even with the scripture that relates to struggle; I still struggle. Our Heavenly Father knows and sees all things and He works for the good of ALL His creation good and bad. God is love.

John 16:33 “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Isaiah 55:8-9 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.”

God sees the big picture, the whole picture past, present and future.

Romans 9:21 Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor.

Daniel 2:21-22 Daniel answered and said: “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and might are His. And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with Him.”

Thank You Father God, Jesus Christ for not leaving us orphans but giving us Your Holy Spirit.

I am God's work in progress. God's word says "be holy as I am holy." The only way to accomplish this is to turn our lives over to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have found that this is a learning process but begins with a real desire to know Him. My prayer is Lord keep me on your paths of righteousness bringing glory and honor to your name.
