Matthew 5:3, Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are the humble who come to know their Savior Jesus Christ.
Matthew 5:4, Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted. Blessed are those who see their sin, repent and turn from it for they shall be forgiven.
Matthew 5:5, Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who can admit their mistakes and correct them for Christ has set you free.
Matthew 5:6, Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be filled. Blessed are those who do and keep God’s word for Christ shall fill them.
Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are those who remember where God brought them from and have compassion on others.
Matthew 5:8, Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Blessed are those whose motives towards others are pure for they shall see God.
Matthew 5:9, Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Blessed are those who follow Jesus teachings because they will be called sons of God.
Matthew 5:10, Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who follow Jesus teachings at all cost because the kingdom of God has come near to you. You are living in the way and the truth and the life.
Lord, Thank You for Your teaching. Let Your Holy spirit lead us and guide us into all Your ways of truth. In Jesus name. amen
