Have we given thought to the order in God’s creation?
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
First God laid the foundation to sustain the life He knew He was going to create in His image. For humans to exist we need oxygen, light, water, food, and yes rest. By those we call scientist we have learned how these things sustain human life. God’s wisdom surpasses any thing we could ever hope to understand. We now can glimpse how mighty, wise and loving our God is by His creation.
Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handy work.
Proverbs 8:31 Rejoicing in His inhabited world, and My delight was with the sons of men,
Do we work at laying God’s good foundation for our lives? Do we pray without ceasing? Do we study to show ourselves approved and being doers of His word? All God has given leads us in His will, His way; Jesus, the Word, the Holy Spirit. What will we choose?
John 14:16 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
John 6:44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.
Are we conducting ourselves in such a way that those who when drawn to Jesus sees in us the love and forgiveness Jesus offers?
Matthew 6:14-15 For if you forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
1 John 2:3-4 Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in Him.
Do we study that we may know our Savior’s will and way? There is none without sin. Are we working on the good foundation?
Romans 13:10 Love does no harm to a neighbor. therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
