Is the church of Christ Jesus a building? Is the body of Christ Jesus a building? Do we care more for the building and where we go than the true church of Christ, the true body of Christ?
Romans 13:10 Love does no harm to a neighbor therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
1 John 3:16-18 By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world’s goods and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
1 John 2:6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk just as He walked.
Isaiah 58:6-7 Is this not the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, and that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; when you see the naked, that you cover him, and not hide yourself from your own flesh.
Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.
We don’t need more or bigger buildings. We need Jesus in the midst of us. God is love.
