Acts3:2 And a certain man lame from his mothers womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple.
Luke 16:19 There was a certain rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day. But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus full of sores, who laid at his gate desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table. Moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
Matthew 7:20-23 Therefore by their fruits you will know them. Not everyone who says to Me Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? And then I will declare to them I never new you; depart from Me you who practice lawlessness!
Mathew 25:34-35 Then the king will say to those on His right hand, come you blessed fo My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you From the foundation of the world, for I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me drink, I was a stranger and you took Me in, I was naked and you clothed Me, I was in prison and you came to Me.
James 2:2-4 For if there should come into your assembly a man with gold rings, in fine apparel, and there should also come in a poor man in filthy clothes, and you pay attention to the one wearing fine clothes and say to him you sit here in a good place and say to the poor man you stand there or sit at my footstool, have you not shown partiality among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?
James 2:6-8 But you have dishonored the poor man. Do not the rich oppress you and drag you into courts? Do they not blaspheme that noble name by which you are called? If you really fulfill the royal law according to the scripture “you shall love your neighbor as yourself you do well”.
Matthew 7;16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles?
Lord, I thank You for every blessing You have given me and for the promises fulfilled and yet to come. Lord, I thank You for Your mercy and Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord, in Jesus name lead us by Your Word our Shepard. Lord, let us be slow to speak and slow to anger for we need discernment in this time. Lead us to pray before we act on all things for Lord we want to shine Your glory to lead others to know You by Your love. For you so loved the world that You gave us Your only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him might not perish but have eternal life. Lord let us ask before we act “What would Jesus DO”? Amen
