Proverbs 9:1-3 Wisdom has built her house, she has hewn out her seven pillars; she has slaughtered her meat, she has mixed her wine, she has also furnished her table. She has sent out her maidens, she cries out from the highest places of the city.
Matthew 22:2-4 “The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son. And sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come. Again, he sent out other servants, saying, ‘tell those who are invited, ‘See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted calf are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding.’
God invites, Jesus invites, they say come. God has given us His Word, His wisdom. He has prepared everything we need. Our Abba is loving, tender, and gentle. David said, Lord, Your gentleness has made me great Psalm 18:35. He invites us to come take freely of His living Word.
James 3:17-18 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
Thank You Abba, thank You Jesus for giving us Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Abba in Jesus name help us accept and hold this precious gift close in Your wisdom and to share it with others. Freely we have been given, help us freely give.
