The Spirits Of God:

Isaiah 11:1-2, there shall come forth a rod from the stem of Jesse and a branch shall grow out of his roots. The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and the Spirit of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and the Spirit of might, the Spirit of knowledge and the Spirit of the fear of the Lord.

  1. The Spirit of the Lord = The Holy Spirit
  2. The Spirit of Wisdom = The Word of God John 1:1 In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God.
  3. The Spirit of Understanding = Jesus explained the Word of God and exposed false doctrines. Matthew 5:3-11 The beatitudes: Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God. Blessed are they that have been persecuted for righteousness sake for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when men persecute you, and say all manner of evil against you falsely for My name sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad for great is your reward in heaven for so they persecuted the prophets that were before you.
  4. The Spirit of Counsel = John 13:13 You call me teacher and Lord: and you say well, for so I am.
  5. The Spirit of Might = It takes a soldier who knows his orders to know how to teach these things. John 10:11 I am the good Shepherd. The good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.
  6. The Spirit of Knowledge = Matthew 11:27 All things have been handed over to Me by My father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and anyone whom the Son wills to reveal Him.
  7. The Spirit of the Fear of the Lord = Exodus 20:2 You shall have no other Gods before Me. Respect and Awe for our Commander.

Isaiah 11:3-6, His delight is in the fear of the Lord, and He shall not judge by the sight of the eyes or decide by the hearing of the ears, but with righteousness He shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth. He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked. Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins and faithfulness the belt of His waist. The wolf also will dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the young lion and fatling together, and a little child shall lead them.

Revelation 3:1, and to the angel of the church in Sardis write, “these things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars.” “I know thy works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. Be watchful and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God.”

Revelation 4:6, and I looked and behold in the midst of the throne and the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

Lord, I thank You for Your revealed Word. In Jesus name let me only speak Your truth revealed in Your word. You alone are God. May You grant life and understanding to us all that we may live in Your light. In Jesus name. Amen
