The View

Last night in a dream I saw me in a passenger seat of a car. I was being driven down a road. I had the window down and was singing out to those that we passed by, “Praise Ye The Lord.” As things in God’s world has seemed so terrible and painful we send up many prayers. Have we remembered that the world and all its fullness belongs to God? Have we remembered to give Him the thanks and glory for the good things we have? Battles have been won by praise.

Joshua 6:20 So the people shouted when the priest blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.

1 Chronicles 14:15 And it shall be, when you hear marching in the tops of the mulberry trees, then you shall go out to battle, for GOD has gone out before you to strike the camp of the philistines.

2 Kings 6:16-17 So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

Isaiah 55:8-9 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.”

Do we decide how things are not being able to see the whole picture? Look at a tree up close and then walk a distance from that tree. The view is very different. God knows and sees all things from a perfect and righteous view. The world belongs to Him and all its fullness.

Isaiah 40:28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.

Do we have a right view of God?

Matthew 6:9-10 “In this manner, therefore pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

John 14:15 If you love Me keep My commandments.

Romans 13:9 For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Proverbs 15:8 The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, but the prayer of the upright is His delight.

Proverbs 15:3 The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.

Do we have a right view of God?

Psalm 118:1 Oh, give thanks to the Lord for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.

I decided by what I saw in the dream what kind of blog this would be and was happy to rejoice. But God knew what was to be written. Though I rejoice in His gift. I am corrected in my view. We see things in such a small view. Lord, that we may see You in a right view. In Jesus name amen

I am God's work in progress. God's word says "be holy as I am holy." The only way to accomplish this is to turn our lives over to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have found that this is a learning process but begins with a real desire to know Him. My prayer is Lord keep me on your paths of righteousness bringing glory and honor to your name.
