Jesus showed us and taught us the way. Will we walk in it?
Matthew 22:36-40 Teacher which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the prophets.”
Romans 13:10 Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
Matthew 5:44-45 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust.
1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that lies within you, with meekness and fear;
John 14:15 If you Love Me keep My commandments.
The way is simple, yet all we are faced with each day it is hard to walk it out. Only through God’s grace and mercy are we saved. Pray, study, Kling to what is good for God has promised to never leave nor forsake us. Be ready to love and help one another through the rough times. Always be worthy of your friends trust.
