Tis The Season:
Isaiah 9:16 For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 42:5-8 5 Thus says God the Lord, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it, Who gives breath to the people on it; 6 I the Lord have called You in righteousness and will hold Your hand; I will keep you and give You as a covenant to the people, as a light to the gentiles. 7 to open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from the prison those who sit in darkness from the prison-house. 8 I am the Lord that is My name and My glory I will not give to another. Nor My praise to carved images.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.
Romans 5: 7-8 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die 8 but God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Are you already stressing over decorations, gifts, food, where you will be? I know every one hears the true reason for the Christmas season is Jesus. STOP!
Think about Jesus; what He did and what He gave. He feed the 5000, He healed the sick, taught us how we are to love our neighbor and our brothers and sister, He taught us love is sacrifice. In this time of being drawn into all the commercial of things that will break, waste away, get stolen or become not the latest thing next year. Lets remember God’s true gift; The Way, The Truth, The Life Jesus Christ. This gift is still giving the very breath we breath!
Matthew 6:20-21 Lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is there your heart will be also.
The greatest gift ever given can never be repaid. Today unto us a Savior is born.
Lord when I think of all You have given even me a sinner to the highest degree I am astounded. Every day You are with me, Your peace is beyond understanding. Thank You is never enough but all I have to give. In Jesus name keep us all on Your paths of righteousness to bring glory and honor to Your name. In Jesus Name Amen
