What will we do with the day the Lord has given us?
Psalm 118:24 This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalm 142:5-6 I remember the days of old; I meditate on all Your works; I muse on the work of Your hands. I spread out my hands to You; my soul longs for You like a thirsty land.
How often during our day do our thoughts turn to Jesus? How often do we check ourselves in our walk with Jesus? Do we check in with Jesus for direction and give praise to Him for His peace and direction?
Psalm 141:2-5 Let my prayer be set before You as incense, the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice. Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door to my lips. Do not incline my heart to any evil thing, to practice wicked works with men who work iniquity; and do not let me eat of their delicacies. Let the righteous strike me; it shall be a kindness. And let him rebuke me, it shall be as excellent oil; Let not my head refuse it.
Amen
