There is an expression, that says “you can’t see the forest for the trees.”
Ever notice when you walk through the forest or even the city streets that you can only see that which is around you. If you get out of the forest onto a high hill or mountain or maybe a tall building you can take in the whole view of the forest. When we only have a small piece of a puzzle and no picture we would have a very hard time putting that puzzle together.
God who loves us sees the whole of every thing and every one. Jesus said we would have troubles in this world but that He had overcome the world and we should not worry. Nearly impossible for humans. I have learned that God does answer prayers and never leaves us. The answer is not always what we want but if we wait and hold on we will look back and see the forest in different seasons of our lives.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.
Matthew 11:28-30 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.
Psalm 50:12 If I were hungry I would not tell you; For the world is Mine, and all its fullness.
Thank You Abba, that You love us so much that You sent Your Son our Redeemer. We can only see the trees but You know all things now and forever, beginning to end, and ending to beginning.
When I am close to a tree it is a small piece but when I walk a distance from it so I can take in the whole tree I notice how very beautiful the tree truly is.
