Jesus kingdom is the last kingdom. We know this because God our Father made Jesus king and High Priest forever over all the world. Jesus is King forever and Jesus is our meditator between God. A High Priest who knows all we face and loves us. In these last days and just as Jesus told us over all the time since His accession to the Father to be our King and High Priest forever many trials and tribulations have come to Christ followers. From horrible leaders, to famine, diseases, wars, natural disasters, and from those who claim to be believers but are wolves in sheep’s clothing only using it to benefit themselves. Many before us washed their robes in faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior and have clung and cling to Jesus true teaching to make it home. Can we hold on to Jesus truth and teaching and walk in it? I am so thankful our God is long suffering that He would not a one be lost. We do know Jesus will return. Will we be found with oil in our lamps?
Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and earth.”
John 16:15 “All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.”
Psalm 50:10-12 For every beast of the forest is Mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills. I know all the birds of the mountains, and the wild beasts of the field are Mine. If I were hungry I would not tell you; for the world is Mine and all its fullness.
Psalm 110:4 The Lord has sworn and will not relent, You are a High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.
Hebrews 1:2-3 Has in the last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He had appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made all the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
John 16:33 “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have over come the world.”
1 John 2:6 He who says he abides in Him ought to himself also walk just as He walked.
Revelation 7:9-14 After these things I looked, and behold a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” All the angels stood around the throne and all the elders and four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God saying: “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever Amen.” Then one of the elders asked me, “Who are these arrayed in white robes and where did they come from?” And I said to him, “Sir you know?” So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”
Revelation 6:9-11 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the alter the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the numbers of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.
Only God knows this time! I am so thankful our God is long suffering for He so loved His world.
