True leaders put those they lead before themselves, their needs before their own. Who are we following? Who will we choose to follow? Jesus laid down His life for ours. Jesus lead in love and peace. Jesus fed the five thousand, healed the sick and forgave freely.
1 John 2:3-6 Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a lair, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
Jesus did not ask us to die for Him but died for us. God fights for His people. God does not need us to fight for Him, He is God alone. We are to believe in Him whom God sent.
John 6:28-29 Then they said to Him, “what shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
Do we believe in Jesus?
John 14:15 If you love Me keep My commandments.
