In this year I have struggled with not having much to give. The Lord has lovingly and gently been sending me this same message but I have still gone back to the place of lack. Finally the light bulb goes on and I am going to share with you in hopes that it will encourage you as well. Let us be doers and not hearers or readers only. In Jesus name amen.
Luke 21:1-4 And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury, and He saw also a certain poor widow putting in two mites. So He said, “Truly I stay to you that this poor widow put in more than all, for all these out of their abundance have put in offering for God, but she out of her poverty put in all the livelihood she had.
1 Corinthians 3:6-9 I planted, Apollos watered but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building.
God gives the increase! A little in His hands feeds multitudes.
1 Corinthians 6:37-44 But He answered and said to them, You give them something to eat.” And they said to Him, “Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread and give them something to eat?” But He said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go and see.” And when they found out they said, “Five loaves and two fish.” Then He commanded them to make them all sit down in groups on the green grass. So they sat down, in hundreds and fifties. And when He had taken the five loaves and two fish, He looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fish He divided among them all. So they all ate and were filled. And they took up twelve baskets full of fragments and of fish. Now those who had eaten the loaves were about five thousand men.
We Praise You Lord Jesus! Thank You for revealing these things to us. Lord, many are in need in this world right now. Open our eyes and hearts to where we can make a difference for You. By word, comfort, monetary, encouragement, any thing Lord. Let Your people walk in Your love towards all mankind. To love others as You love us. In Jesus name amen
