I have heard it said, “These things have to happen.” Meaning that the hate, the violence, the destruction, and things happening in our world. If that is true WHY would GOD give His people WARNINGS? If that is true why did God give us a plan for life and wonderful commandments? If that is true why did God send His Son so that the world might be saved? God is love! God sent out His prophets to warn even the pagans! Jonah was sent to Nineveh a city Jonah deemed too evil to save and he fought against God and didn’t want to go but God sent him and Nineveh repented and was not destroyed. God sent prophet after prophet to warn them to turn from their evil. God told Solomon in a dream to keep His commandments and He would keep His covenant He made with David and prosper him. God told Joseph in a dream his family would bow before him. God sent Joseph ahead to rescue His people and prosper them and God later sent Moses who brought them out and there was not a feeble one among them and He brought them out with much wealth. ARE WE LISTENING?
2 Chronicles 7:14 If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Deuteronomy 11:26 Behold, I set before you a blessing and a curse: the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you today; and a curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known.
Romans 13:10 Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
ARE WE LISTENING? We will think and listen to God’s warnings? Jesus Teachings?
