If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
Often we ask for wisdom but we don’t then wait expectantly for it. I have prayed and then not even realized He answered because it didn’t come the way I imagined. I have received by others put in my path, by leading me through a search on the internet, by His word he brings to mind and when I have been driving and end up going a way I hadn’t planned. God is God. He is not limited to how he answers our prayers. Don’t limit your receiving by thinking it should come the way you imagine.
Lord, in Your Son’s perfect name open our hearts and minds to receive Your gifts of wisdom, truth, understanding, love, joy, peace, faithfulness, self control, goodness, kindness, gentleness. We thank You and await Your glory with excitement. Amen
