We All Bleed The Same:
James 2:1-4
1 My brethren, do not hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with partiality. 2 For if there should come into your assembly a man of gold rings and fine apparel, and there should also come in a poor man in filthy clothes 3 and you pay attention to the one wearing fine clothes and say to him, you sit here in a good place, and you say to the poor man you sit there or here at my footstool, 4 have you not shown partiality among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts.
James 2:8-9
If you really fulfill the royal law according to the to the scripture you shall love your neighbor as yourself you do well. 9 but if you show partiality you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors.
Matthew 9:10-13
Now it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house, that behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat with Him and His disciples. 11 and when the pharisees saw it they said to His disciples, why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?
Who are those today we are avoiding? Think about it. Maybe those who have tattoos, those who are poor, homeless, uneducated, maybe they dress unbecoming, can’t sing, can’t speak as good, that list could go on forever.
12 When Jesus heard that, He said to them “those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. 13 but go and learn what this means: I desire mercy and not sacrifice, for I did not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.”
Lord Jesus Savior of my life I am thankful You came for sinners like me. That Your love was so great that You died for me even in my sin. Lord send me to those You love and are calling. Give me the wisdom and strength to love as You love and to follow Your lead always.
