Weary Traveler

We have walked through and paid the consequences of our mistakes and many still haunt us. Yet there is Jesus. Jesus is always faithful. If we look to Jesus we know we are never alone. Jesus says He is the Good Shepherd and the Good Shepherd never leaves His sheep on their own. There is nothing hidden from God. God knows us from beginning to end and each moment in between. This is a great thing! God knows His creation and exactly what it needs. God is the only One who can know all things about us. To know God is to know true love. Our family and friends will let us down because they are not perfect; just like us. They die just like us. God never ends. We never walk alone. The moment we call to Jesus He is there even before we call for He knows that moment before we do.

Are you weary? Are you burdened with life choices? Are you afraid of what others think? Are you suffering in silence?

Jesus says, “Come”. Weary traveler you won’t be weary long. You never walk alone.

John 10:9-11 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly. I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd gives His life for the sheep.

Psalm 139:1-4 O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought a far off. You comprehend my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.

Psalm 139:13 For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mothers womb.

God shows no partiality. We are all His creation.

Psalm 50:12 If I were hungry I would not tell you; For the world is Mine and all its fulness.

There is nothing we can do and nothing we can give God. We are His creation. He loves us and wants to give us His love and life.

Really? Have you asked this? I have. I asked, “If all my days are written in Your book why didn’t You make me better?”

Just as I am He loves me. Ask and you shall receive. There is not a clear understanding except that in all my mistakes I am humbled that He loves me and wants to give me life. He brought me to His word to give me a closer walk with Him and I found all His ways are good. Ask and you shall receive.

If you search for Me You will find Me. Taste and see that our Savior is good. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. You are never alone. You never walk alone. For God says, ” I will never leave you nor forsake you. Return to Me.”

I am God's work in progress. God's word says "be holy as I am holy." The only way to accomplish this is to turn our lives over to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have found that this is a learning process but begins with a real desire to know Him. My prayer is Lord keep me on your paths of righteousness bringing glory and honor to your name.
