Woe? Woe?

Everyone is doing it is not and excuse or a defense to let justice go undone. In fact it means that often the first time justice was not upheld that others believed they also should get away with it.

Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.

No, there is not one with out sin in God’s eyes. Does this mean God over looks sin? No, it does not! God’s people suffered great punishment for their sin. We have all suffered the consequences of our actions and words. Thankfully God is merciful. If we learn from the consequences of our actions and turn from our sin, and we seek forgiveness God is gracious to forgive. We still suffer the consequences though He will not utterly let us fall.

I am God's work in progress. God's word says "be holy as I am holy." The only way to accomplish this is to turn our lives over to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have found that this is a learning process but begins with a real desire to know Him. My prayer is Lord keep me on your paths of righteousness bringing glory and honor to your name.
