Are we worrying over every thing we see happening around us? Are we letting those on the news divide us? Are we letting them take our peace?
Jeremiah 29:11:13 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Fathers house are many mansions; If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
Are we letting others, the devil steal God’s, Jesus most perfect gift from us?
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Jesus gave us simple commands. Love your neighbor as yourself. In doing this we show our love for Jesus and the Father because we keep His commands. Jesus also said to go and make disciples, teach others about who He truly is. Do others see Jesus in us if we are angry, or complaining about the things going on in His world? Do they see Jesus in us when we extend a hand, a kind word to encourage, lift up or meet their worry and anger with what God says? My peace I leave with you.
Lord, thank you every good and perfect gift comes from You! Your gifts of Peace, Joy, Love, Gentleness, Kindness, Goodness, Self Control. Lord in Jesus name increase these gifts in Your people that we may extend them to those around us. AMEN
