Division?

The Lord tells us the devil comes as an angel of light. I was given a sample of this when I heard and could see myself relaxing with a cigarette one day after I had quit. Oh he made it look so nice and relaxing. Well I did the old LP scratch and told him he was a lier and listed all the truly bad things cigarettes cause and asked the Lord to get rid of that devil. The devil comes only to steal, kill, divide and destroy. The Lord tells us a house divided cannot stand. Have we used our minds and prayer to discern propaganda, divisiveness, hate, slander, conspiracy theories, and the like? Have we chosen to follow Jesus teachings? The Lord tells us the lamp of the body is the eye. What we see and hear cannot be unseen and unheard by our minds. The old saying you are what you eat can also apply to what we see, read, and listen to, for it affects our minds and our thinking. Are we giving the devil a foot hold in our minds? Do we think of hating this one or that one for the reason of only someone said it or wrote it? If we truly believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior, knowing and following His teaching will be what is important to us.

John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Titus 3:10 Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition, knowing that such a person is wrapped and sinning being self condemned.

I receive comments on blogs posted and some with foreign language mixed in. I could tell enough that it was a gambling site so of course I would not click on it. My son knowing how to find out what language and site it was without clicking on it was able to tell me it was Russian and a scam gambling site. The devil is a thief and a lier. What if we stopped listening to the propaganda and started following Jesus teaching in truth?

John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Romans 13:10 Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control against such there is no law.

What fruit are we bearing? Be careful little eyes what you see for the Father up above is looking down in love.
