Paganism?

The Israelites were told not to intermarry with those who worshiped other god’s. Throughout history there have been subtle things that began to combine that we decided are ok. The celebration of Jesus birth is combined with santa claus (who is he?) commercialism. Our Savior’s death and birth with the easter bunny, again commercialism. I would think at our age we all grew up with these. We also have made different actors/ actresses, sports figures, rich and powerful, and others our role models. If we read the book of Ester a time was set aside for celebration and gift giving because God brought about deliverance from a man who planned the genocide of the Hebrews. Who are we looking up to? Who are we following? Jesus?

John 14:15 If you love Me keep My commandments.

We are to live in the world but walk as Jesus walked. God’s word is not a religion it is a way of life, truth, love, gentleness, kindness, goodness, self control. Only by God’s grace. Pray always.
